Hello! I’m Torri Howard.
My love for photography began at a very young age. As far back as I can remember, I often had a camera in hand and was capturing photos of friends and family throughout the years. I have stacks of albums and boxes of pictures. I love to look back through all those photos and reminisce about those moments, a special event, a person who is no longer with us. These are memories I can share with my children and grandchildren. These photos allow us to connect and will continue to do so for generations to come. In 2010 Images by Torri Howard was born.
My professional journey began with me photographing every opportunity. Seniors, weddings, birthday parties and everything in between. I quickly fell in love with newborn photography. I love capturing those first few weeks of a new life that will be family keepsakes for years to come. I learned all I could about newborn photography including baby safety during newborn sessions (making sure your little one is safe during a session will always be my priority). I have been fortunate over the years to have taken several workshops across the country with top newborn photographers. Today, I continue to invest in education opportunities that provide me with the most up to date knowledge, allowing me to continue to provide my clients with a first class newborn experience and images. I have been recognized as one of the top newborn photographers in Seattle by Expertise since 2017.
Providing memories beginning with the maternity session through the baby's first year is my happy place. My portfolio would not be complete without family sessions. I have long time families that come back to me each year. I love documenting these moments and feel honored that the images I capture with my camera will become family keepsakes for generations to come.
I live in Bothell WA along with my husband Jim (who has been known to show up at family or infant sessions a time or two with a funny face or a Donald Duck voice to get smiles during a session). I am a mom to three beautiful daughters, all who are grown. I am blessed to be a Nana of two amazing granddaughters and three bonus grandsons. I am also a dog mom to Sophie and Izzy. When I am not capturing memories for others, I enjoy traveling to warm places or catching a Seahawks game during football season. I look forward to capturing the images you envision for your forever memories.
